Locum Urgent Care GP

Urgent Care Locum GP – 2026 Rosters | Up to $275 p/h | Multiple Locations

We are currently recruiting Specialist General Practitioners for 2026 locum rosters across a network of privately owned urgent care clinics. These are well-run, established locations with a strong track record of returning doctors and excellent clinical support.

The Opportunity:

• Solo GP role supported by two dedicated urgent care nurses
• On-site practice manager and strong operational support
• Clinics operate 7 days a week, 8:00am–10:00pm
• See Category 4 & 5 presentations only
• Anything below this is immediately referred to the local hospital
• Flexible locum blocks with a variety of roster options

Remuneration & Benefits:

• $250 per hour during Monday-Friday, $275 per hour for after-hours and weekend shifts
• Flights, accommodation and car provided for blocks longer than 3 days
• High-quality urgent care environments with streamlined workflows

• Mackay, QLD
• Carlton, NSW
• Townsville, QLD

Requirements:

• Specialist GP registration
• Urgent care or ED experience highly regarded
